Neumarkter Lammsbräu, the German manufacturer of organic beer, organic lemonade, and organic mineral water, chose Asprova APS as their scheduling solution. A very detailed proof of concept—including a prototype with Lammsbräu’s entire value chain—confirmed that Asprova APS is the scheduling system that can meet the brewery industry’s unique requirements. The result: consistent and automated scheduling to replace problematic Excel scheduling.
Asprova schedules the entire process—orchestrated end-to-end: boiling, fermentation, storage, filtration, blending (for lemonade), CIP, and bottling. The brewery industry needs special APS functions for realistic scheduling—namely time locks for tanks and maximum time constraints to optimally schedule the sensitive time requirements between processes. In addition to inventory-optimizing production planning and control, Lammsbräu’s order processing procedures are improved through implementing Asprova.
