Betsaide S.A.L., the leading iron foundry in Elorrio, Spain, is scheduling casting and core manufacturing processes with Asprova since 2006.
Asprova optimized sequencing of more than 20 different types of alloys in the foundry—an impactful improvement for Betsaide. Through this, they reduced setup costs and now synchronize the inventory needs of the sales order backlog. Using scenario simulations, schedulers are making fully-informed production decisions.
Betsaide is currently expanding the Asprova implementation to include outsourced work with the outcome being a complete end-to-end solution.
